What can I expect in the Monaco LifeCheck Total Body Scan?

The basic Total Body Scan includes high-resolution scanning of the following:

· Heart and Coronary Arteries
· Lungs
· Abdomen (liver, spleen, kidneys, pancreas, stomach, intestinal structures, lymph nodes)
· Pelvic organs (prostate gland, uterus, ovaries, urinary bladder)
· Colon (large intestine)
· Carotid Arteries
· Brain

What happens at MLCC during a scanning procedure?

For the basic check-up scanning session, the patient remains clothed in his/her own clothes. No special preparation is required and the patient does not have to fast before coming to MLCC.

The entire scanning session for the basic heart/lungs/abdomen/pelvis lasts only 10-15 minutes. The procedure is safe and painless. No injected dyes or medication are required.

How do I obtain the scan results?

We will provide copies of appropriate scans, a written report, and a CD-ROM with your scans. The CD includes a built-in viewer allowing your personal physician to look at the results.

Are specialized medical staff available for consultation at MLCC?

Yes. The Medical Director, Dr. Michael McNamara, is available, by appointment, for consultation. He is also available to explain scan results if you return to MLCC to get your results.
